Center Birth
We have two fully-equipped birthing centers in Laguna Hills, Long Beach and in Corona. All of our centers are designed with the comfort of our clients, their families and the birthing process in mind. Each center has two large birth rooms with large beds, deep soaking birth tubs and private bathrooms. Our centers also offer ample space for moving about while in labor and a kitchen to store your own food and/or drinks. Our decor is patient-minded with plush linens, calming color touches and intelligently staged labor supplies to further increase relaxation and support the natural birth process. All our centers are equipped with birth (yoga) balls, essential oils and mood enhancing audio. If you are interested in taking a tour, please call our office to set up a free consultation.
Home Birth
Occasionally, we have clients who request for our Midwives to assist with labor and delivery in the comfort of their home. This is certainly an option that we have available to our clients. Each birth and client is so unique, we work hard to tailor the best delivery options for both baby and mom. For our patients who have been with us throughout their prenatal care and additionally inquiring consultations are encouraged to discuss home birth options with one of our midwives at the initial appointment or anytime during their pregnancy. We have the ability to bring the birth center to you as well, including all of the supplies, personal and equipment to help attain a parent’s desired home birth.
Water Birth
At Beach Cities Midwifery, we have large soaking tubs for our patients who choose to labor or give birth in the water. This is a very popular choice for many of our clients as it is very soothing and helps minimize the intensity of labor contractions. While it is difficult to predict whether a baby will be born in the water, it is certainly an option that we have available and one that we encourage for those who are candidates. All of our tubs are oversize and deep soaking to allow in many cases both parents to enter the tub during delivery.
Beach Cities Midwifery has mobile tubs and equipment to accommodate a home birth (there is a small charge for supplies associated with this rental).
