Beach Cities Midwifery and Women’s Health Care: has been serving Southern Orange County since 2000 and BJ Snell has been delivering a better approach to birth since 1991 and has been instrumental in the discipline of Nurse Midwifery. Dr. Snell holds a Ph.D in Nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University. She taught future Midwives at the University of Southern California and currently is the Director of the women’s health concentration at California State University, Fullerton.  In 2009 BJ decided to open one of the first free standing Birth Center’s in Southern Orange County; the Beach Side Birth Center. To date we have delivered over 60 babies in our inaugural year. In 2009, because of her unbelievable qualifications and experience, Vickie Alston was brought on board to help us better serve our community and our dynamic patient makeup.
