We use current evidence-based information to discuss: \n\nPhysiology and Anatomy of Pregnancy and Birth\nHormones of Labor\nMedical Interventions\nStages of Labor\nHands on Comfort Techniques\nEarly Postpartum\n\nGroup classes are designed to be interactive with an opportunity for parents to build a community. \nOur goal is to empower families with knowledge in order to reduce the fear around childbirth\, and prepare partners with hands on skills that help ease the discomfort of labor.  We want families to walk away feeling confident in making individualized decisions for their labor\, birth and early postpartum. \nThis class is taught by Julia Underwood and Reina Chavez. Latch onto the basics of breastfeeding before your baby arrives. This class will prepare you for success in the first 3 months after birth and beyond.
